As an OAI Ambassador at the OpenAPI Initiative, I promote the adoption and use of open standards and best practices for API design and management, and with Getting APIs to Work, I provide consulting and training services for API programs.I have a strong background in digital transformation, API design, and API governance, and I have contributed to many publications, patents, and standards. I have also worked with various industries and sectors, such as healthcare, education, finance, and government, to help them leverage the power and potential of APIs for innovation, integration, and automation. My mission is to help organizations get APIs to work in a truly transformative way, by ensuring that they have the right APIs, and that they design and manage them in the right way.

Developer Advocate, CTO Team - SolaceAs a developer advocate in Solace’s office of the CTO, Aaron evangelizes Solace technology and conveys developer feedback to Solace’s engineering team.Since joining Solace in 2011 Aaron has helped clients make the most of Solace technology in a variety of professional services and systems engineering roles. He helped design a monitoring infrastructure at Barclays, an equities trading platform for Royal Bank of Canada, and a betting platform for Hong Kong Jockey Club.Before Solace, Aaron was a developer with Larus Technologies, where he consulted with the Canadian Army on NATO sensor data applications. Aaron holds a bachelor’s degree (with honors) in mathematics and a master’s degree in computer science, both from Carleton University in Ottawa.
